  1. I'm stuck in a studio all day listening to scientists read scripts. Zzzzzzzz
  2. My wife brought me an O'Doul's, but it would have tasted even better if she'd opened it for me too.
  3. -synching!
  4. On a daddy-daughter date with Sophie, waiting for 2012 to start (her choice).
  5. Watch band broke, not going to fix it. Another fine old technology I no longer use, like newspapers, radio, DayTimer, underpants, etc.
  6. Relaxing with Metallica, O'Doul's Amber, and Lord of the Rings (book).
  7. I get a little thrill out of throwing away people's H'ween candy without their knowing it. Leave any out, and it's toast.
  8. Wow, our priesthood teacher is having us read George Carlin quotes, paired with Elder Bednar.
  9. Lost in translation: Our neighborhood's new Chinese family came 'round T-or-Ting at 11 a.m.
  10. After taking pride in my orange-boosted immune system, I'm now humbled with strep.
  11. I'm dodging bullets right and left. Family and coworkers keep falling all around me, but so far I haven't gotten sick.
  12. Poll: Must cell phones be turned off during ads and previews, or not until the actual movie?
  13. I believe time spent watching or reading Lord of the Rings counts as scripture-study time.
  14. It's gonna be a long night. I broke all 3 rules: lots of food, spicy food, eaten late eve.
  15. I am one of those people who can watch Lord of the Rings over and over, and am doing so again now.
  16. Now we're waiting to be seated at a new Provo restaurant called Communal, put on by the same Sundance guys who do Pizza 7-12. Cool art, ...
  17. -we'll see about the dining.
  18. Sitting in the theater with my sweetie waiting for "White on Rice" to start. (Hey, she's texting too...)
  19. Of the four fathers cell-phoning at the playground, I bet I'm the only one reading a Jane Austen e-book.
  20. I was wondering why I slept so deeply last night, then I realized that cooler sleeping weather is returning. Yay! Crack open the window!
