  1. Montessori School students came today to tour our food pantry and bring food they'd collected. "And a little child shall lead them."
  2. General Mills donated and delivered over 4k cases of cereal to CCS Fri. 12 boxes/case. Thank God for provision!

  4. General Mills heard about us. They have Halloween cereal to get rid of. We have children who need cereal.
  5. SOS Gift Basket Open House 907 Oakland Ave. Saturday, Nov. 7 9am-2pm Baskets: Pre-assembled or Build Your Own Samples of all SOS Products!
  6. Boatload of potatoes donated in memory of a loved one, after donor heard Dean speak for 5 min. at Faith UMC Mon. pm. No one like our God!

  8. Surprise donation yesterday: $300 + offer of time marketing and seling Soup of Success products. Fantastic!
  9. Welcome, Mary Kneller, new pantry manager! Thanks, Lorraine, for an awesome job in the interim!
  10. 3400 lbs of food given by community to CCS's pantry at Sat.'s event.
  11. Donation and note came today from strangers in PA, + VM from man in MA who wants to start program there similar to CCS. We're all connected.

  19. move that van -- taking the CCS show on the road Sat. Elkhart's internet radio station WERS doing 12-12 food drive for us. PR, baby!
  20. CCS just crossed the $700,000 mark for our building fund. :) Another $300,000+ to go. Onward!
