  1. @woodsprite Sadness. I loves it. If I were there, I'd buy a bottle and let you take all the gold.
  2. @woodsprite Just buy a bottle of goldschlaeger and sift it out.
  3. We got to go to a real, live Christmas concert last night: http://turkishcrossroads.wordpress.com/2009/12/18/a-real-live-christmas-concert/
  4. @tcharles I don't like Notre Dame. I think it would provide press, but it would take forever and we'd give them too much to convince them.
  5. Who should be the 12th team to join the Big Ten? I think Mizzou or Iowa St. which would open a spot in the Big 12 for TCU.
  6. @natduran I once figured out in Hebrew that if I got a 100 or a 0 on the final I would still have a B. I ended up not studying, getting a 50
  7. Had tacos tonight for the first time in almost four months. Is it weird that I'm enjoying the usually unwanted taco burps?
  8. My favorite beer available in Turkey - Gusta. 1-12 oz. bottle 1.55 TL. A six pack of 12 oz. bottles 13.95 TL. Um...what?
  9. Looking at various writing contests, thinking I could waste a lot of money on entrance fees and postage (especially from Turkey).
  10. @woodsprite Ok good, I wasn't sure if you'd let slip his new pet name or something.
  11. @woodsprite Are you talking about about Eric or Jazzmine?
  12. In case you missed it: We went to Istanbul! http://turkishcrossroads.wordpress.com/2009/12/02/istanbul/
  13. Welp, November is over (at least it is in Turkey). Final #nanorimo word count 58183. I should finish the story in a few days. (I hope.)
  14. Getting ready to hit the town, and when I say the town, I mean Istanbul. (It's glorious, you really should visit.)
  15. Heading to Istanbul in the morning. I hope it has less smog than Ankara.
  16. And I've finally won #nanowrimo. Word count currently at 50,024. It should rise to 60k by the end of the month, we shall see.
  17. #nanowrimo word count 47595...I'll hit 50k tomorrow, finish the book, we'll see hopefully by November 30.
  18. Student quote of the night: "I want to kill British English." Me too buddy, me too.
  19. @rudy227 That doesn't make sense to me. Sounds as though it is putting limits on God.
  20. #nanowrimo word count up to 38315. Hoping I can finish before Thanksgiving and our trip to Istanbul.
