  1. CERT final exercise held yesterday at Martinsville Baptist Tabernacle school. 1st in Indiana! Went well, but needed more helpers.
  2. You might get a lot of good info from http://chppm-www.apgea.army.mil . Lots of really good infor on safety and prevention.
  3. Check out http://flu.gov for seasonal and H1N1 updates.
  4. Last high school CERT class is today. Exercise to be scheduled soon. First CERT course in a school in Indiana. Soon see how well it worked.
  5. www.cdc.gov/h1n1flu/updates/us/ maps IN h1n1 flu last week as "sporadic", which is low, but both Ill and KY are "widespread", the highest.

  8. Off to Indianapolis in a little bit for the Urban Orienteering event.

  10. Three person team participting in the "Urban Orienteering" this Saturday in downtown Indianapolis.
  11. Power out in most of the county. Localized flooding a problem in low lying areas. Use extreme caution in rescue actions.

  13. The WHO now says that there could be 2 billion people infected in 160 countries with H1N1 during the pandemic. Most will just be ill.

  15. Kids camps closing this summer across USA due to H1N1 fears, especially for those with special needs. More later on JTFD5.org.
  16. Great Britain H1N1 nearing epidemic. Deaths double in the last two days (14), and 9,700 reported cases. Reveiw prevention/protection tools.
  17. More items taken yesterday afternoon. Extra diligence needed to keep watch.
  18. Vandalism at the JTFD station! Two fire axes stolen off the trucks, and other equipment strewn around. Meet at 6pm to look for them.
