  1. RT @EstelleDarlings I see the fuss over healthcare now.
  2. @itznylaboo I have a child, could I still participate?
  3. Again...when it rains, it pours. God, give me strength for both of us.
  4. RT @HuHot Free appetizer samples tonight in Creve Coeur. Plus, bottles of beer are only $2! Available after 4PM on Wednesdays.
  5. RT @RONNIENOTCH Stay positive...stay humble...stay hungry...my daily mantra...this saves many of you all... • *Reading, applying, breathing*
  6. Yeah, I went on a rant. Usually ain't me, might have something to do w/pain meds. As much as they cost, they are def doing the job. *loopy*
  7. @BunnieMarie I know you feel me! This shit has GOT to change before I pull a John Q! I'll be setting it off for medical care instead of $!
  8. RT @GlobalGrind J Cole vs Drake: "Who's The Best You Decide" - http://bit.ly/4QMCo3
  9. @dartz8584 Welp, looks like she ain't driving anymore...
  10. I'm not rich. I'm overwhelmed. I'm your average uninsured working American. So much for the public option, right? Not for me, not for you.
  11. Small agencies not always required 2 allow Family Medical Leave Act, which saves ur position in such circumstances. (Birth, surgery, etc)
  12. Limited sick leave for uninsured surgery. Job says, "If you take off to rest, it will cut into sick leave & you may need that after surgery"
  13. ...Turns to "I have no choice". Trip to ER. X-rays. Prescriptions for pain. Crutches. Must see orthopedic surgeon tomorrow. Surgery imminent
  14. ...And of course I do. 'Member that right foot? Excruciating pain, swelling. "I'll be OK" turns to "But I can't afford"...
  15. 6) Pray I don't get seriously sick or injured.
  16. 4) Look for free programs/resources for medical care, flu shots, checkups 5) Contact legislators to support #HCR (healthcare reform)
  17. 1) Try to stay healthy 2) Try to treat all ailments over the counter 3) Ignore a sharp pain in my right foot for 2+ months
  18. I'm one of millions who is too "rich" to qualify for Medicaid, too poor to afford insurance thru job. So what are my options......?
  19. I work full time, 40-50 hrs/wk. Small private agency that passes total cost of health insurance to its employees. No contribution whatsoever
  20. Yesterday was a day that solidifed my standing as an uninsured, working class American that fully supports healthcare reform.
