  1. Did you ever have a dream that you were sword-fighting the devil? ...me neither. (But I won.)
  2. 80% done with the fourth website I've written in #clojure. Kind of excited/proud of this one. Hope my VPS can handle it.

  4. Letter from the IRS today: "We are still processing your fcrm (sic)".
  5. Need to write a GUI app. Probably going to use wxPython. Must learn Python better first. Time to go over to the Dark Side.

  7. Guess who's been approved to move to Canada
  8. My Canadian immigration paperwork is progressing (slowly). I can't possibly get out of the US fast enough in my opinion.
  9. Nothing like a fresh Linux install. Smooth and delicious. #gentoo
  10. Wiped my Gentoo partition, reinstalling it fresh. Easy to install when you dual-boot another distro. Not even reading the instructions.
  11. @Pancaek Two blocks isn't that far is it? I had to walk a mile to my classes every day. Uphill both ways.
  12. @numerodix If you invent something that keeps books open while you read them, you will make a fortune. I'd buy a dozen.
  13. @Pancaek Are you drunk?
  14. Working on a Vim insert-mode clone of paredit right now. Actually seems to be possible to get most of the good bits working.
  15. Vim script is an acquired taste. Kind of painful to do anything fancy.
  16. Started rereading my old Japanese textbooks. Can't believe how much I've forgotten. Can't believe I ever knew as much as I apparently did.
  17. OK Oregon, you aren't supposed to be 106 degrees. Come on now. Knock it off.
  18. @teetante You can fake it with foo(:bar => 'baz')
  19. Quoth MS PowerShell: "The redirection operator '<' is not supported yet.". CAN YOU FEEL THE POWER?
  20. Ever since I learned #lisp I can't remember to write return statements in any other language.
