If you live on the Westcoast and are wanting to prune back your roses for fall, DON'T. Roses need stems and canes for winter reserve.

Roses need to be dormant before you dig and move them. Wait until late October, then prune hard, dig and move them as you wish.

Roses Loveeeeeeeeeeee fish fertilizer!!! I dump a full watering can of diluted fish per rose bush and let it splash on the foliage!
