  1. Dizzy in that peculiar I've-been-up-for-22-hours way. Five more hours and I will be fully present (re: asleep) in PST. But first, need food.
  2. I think my first Internet outage on BT is a sign I should get to bed and get some sleep before my 7 AM flight tomorrow.
  3. @teeandtoast it's all about the 7:20 flight on Aer Lingus to LHR. Much more humane than the earlier offerings. ;-)
  4. @dgentry nope - some addresses result in errors if the web server for <address> does unexpected things. Working on fixes now. :-)
  5. @samueljamesbell webfinger.org – the trick is that webfinger works with lots of sites – use inferred information (try a hotmail address!)
  6. @teeandtoast we're back on the 5th! We'll won't have freezer access, but I'll bring tortillas and make chilequiles-in-Belfast - u r invited!
  7. @teeandtoast @cookbook - we're in SF next weekend, but Dec. 12th for sure. ;-) When's the next Black Box?
  8. @teeandtoast heya! :-) tonight it was cauliflower curry, last night bready delights!
  9. @MelKirk try tablethotels.com - I got 3 nights for the price of 2 last time I stayed. Also, the modern pantry downstairs is massively tasty.
  10. @MelKirk I liked the Zetter, also the Fox & Anchor. Not necessarily "central" depending on where you need to be, but not far off.
  11. @cimota well done!! Looking forward to it - has anyone got in touch with the Google Transit folks?
  12. @Harkaway ahh, indeed. In that case is that you have to convince your *publisher* to get a public key, or use a passphrase & pgp. Someday...
  13. @Harkaway If you *need* encrypted email, I'd recommend biting the bullet on GPG. Alternatively, OTR chat is v. good/secure and simple.
  14. @Harkaway PGP/GPG works (js gmail plugins!), but the trust model has a significant learning curve that most aren't willing to deal with.
  15. @Harkaway nope - there's S/MIME, but unless you & recipient get a personal cert from a trusted root (e.g. verisign), it's basically useless
  16. @gusandrews definitely not preserve timestamp - the only way is to re-publish them. :-(
  17. Looking for a designer in Belfast to do some sketches with this week. dm/@/email me if interested/available.
  18. @jobsworth we should chat more about deployment issues: http://bit.ly/5cEYkv (from 2006)
  19. Just discovered legacy.odeo.com. Incredibly classy. I'd just assumed that in tried-and-true web fashion, all that data was just gone.
  20. @miju nope - got back from a week in New York today, two weeks ago I was in SF for a week. Next week is SF again, so this week I sleep @3AM.
