  1. Dog brought one of the Christmas Tree Light Death Stars into the family room where I stepped on it. Owww.
  2. @alexr My wife turned me on to Stollen, Fruit Cake, and Marzipan. Nom *is* definitely the word.
  3. Enjoying a sudden rain shower, that started while the sun was out. Now it's dark and hailing.
  4. Eating Marzipanstollen. Next thing you know, I'll be playing Christmas Music (and be sick of it 15 minutes later).
  5. @codecow The 2010 Oakland Marathon. About 18 weeks from now.
  6. Putting on the Christmas Tree Lights from Hell. Razor sharp plastic flowers fall off easily and will take out a barefoot adult.
  7. RT Device spells doom for superbugs http://bit.ly/71PjeS Damn, I'd like to get me some of that Plasma stuff.
  8. Pecan Pie is a great beginner's Pie. Just made another awesome one from a recipe from the also awesome Cook's Illustrated.
  9. @codecow Running with 40# cinder block? Yowza.
  10. @codecow Missed the rain, but got my punishment on the Treadmill yesterday. 5 x 1200 @ 5k pace. Finishing week 1 of Marathon training.
  11. Watching my son play World of Warcraft. You're having a bad day when fire rains down on you from heaven. In a cave.
  12. Big family Thanksgiving madness.
  13. After our race, Andrew got some Icio peppermint water. Tastes like hair tonic.
  14. Racing turned into pacing today as I ran the Piedmont Turkey Trot with my son Andrew. We broke 30:00!
  15. @alexr More donuts for you then.
  16. Happiness is an easy refactoring that clearly improves program structure.
  17. What if you had a company and nobody came? Apparently, that's what happened at work today.
  18. Just bought my first Android App, the Zagat Guide. Nice. It's dangerously easy to buy stuff.
  19. Fascinating article about the Michelin Guide in the New Yorker magazine. Going to read it to wife when she wakes up.
  20. Beginning to think the word "Manager" in a class name is a design smell.
