  11. @dgulbran Overbearing concern. When I tell my Chinese friends I have a cold, they respond like my American friends would if I had cancer.
  12. Forgot a very important rule about being sick: Don't tell your Chinese friends you're sick until you're better.

  16. I'm convinced that there is no better way to fully master a language than compulsive consumption of TV shows.
  17. The lead character committed suicide ten minutes into the first episode, so there is no shortage of drama either.
  18. What I like about it so far, is it is the first Chinese TV show, where when watching it, it actually looks like modern China.
  19. It's the story of several Chinese recent college graduates and the pressures they face after graduating college.
  20. Consumption of any Chinese visual media requires lowering the bar to some extent, but I think 奋斗 is going to be pretty decent.
