  1. If Pacers played Rockets in a series, I think it goes 7. Their record is product of weak East. Save Heat's coronation for a real opponent.
  2. Amazing what seeing a ball drop in can do for confidence. That was a very nice stroke from J.D. Martinez for another two-out hit. #Astros
  3. Winning at Twitter. RT @SethDavisHoops When did the Sixers and Celtics join the Big Ten?
  4. This is why I lack sympathy for the Jim Joyce's of the world. Want us to accept you're human? Fine, give same courtesy to players. Sheesh.
  5. Feel terrible for Chris Johnson. Only thing worse than a bad call is an umpire that's so sensitive he tosses a player for being upset.
  6. @joshua_mosley Yup. I've gotten to where I cheer against Wade (for that reason) more than LeBron, and I didn't know that was possible.
  7. Sad but true: in today's NBA, officials watch the reaction as much as they do the actual foul. Tyler needed to milk it more.
  8. If Hansbrough had flopped and rolled around like Wade did, I think that's a flagrant 2 on Haslem.
  9. This is awesome. RT @zacharylevine: Yes, that is Astros GM Jeff Luhnow working as an usher at today's Astros game. twitter.com/zacharylevine/…
  10. Spurs are playing as well as any team in years, but OKC's core of talent is that good. Ultimate test, but I think this is their coronation.
  11. Feel I'm in the minority, but I'll stick with OKC over Spurs. Long series, but I trust KD, Westbrook and Harden so much when close/late.
  12. Jason freakin' Castro. What a time for his first HR. Haven't worried about his numbers because ABs have been competitive. He'll come around.
  13. That's the 3rd walk for J.D. Martinez in five starts after having only 2 in the first 15 days of May. Starting to turn it around, it seems
  14. @Kyle7R I think it helps that Luhnow already has a relationship with Berkman from STL. Seem to like each other.
  15. For Astros, injury may lower Berkman's price so that it's not a major risk. Plus, fan-friendly move for Crane heading into unpopular AL.
  16. Would reduce travel for him and eliminate time in the field. Could see it being Lance's way to say goodbye. Hope it happens for 2013.
  17. Can't help but wonder if Berkman's ACL injury makes it more likely he ends career as Astros' DH. Doubt he wants to leave on these terms.
  18. Heat/Pacers will hinge on Haslem's jumper, I think. If he makes those 15 footers, like Bosh did, that spaces floor and James/Wade can drive.
  19. Funny how Wade's "knee" looks just fine now that he's making shots. Pay no attention to the whines of one of the NBA's biggest brats.
  20. Has Hubie Brown gone senile? Um, it's pretty obvious why Hibbert fouled Wade like that: so Wade couldn't get a shot off for the "and 1".
