BeatleRamblings

  1. The George Harrison demo of "It Don't Come Easy" is so weird to listen to.
  2. Does anyone know where I can find all the Dr. Ebbetts Beatles albums?
  3. "I'm sorry that I doubted you, I was so unfair. You were in a car crash, and you lost your hair." - Ringo, Don't Pass Me By
  4. “If you don't know where you're going, any road will take you there.” ― George Harrison
  5. "I am alive and well and unconcerned about the rumors of my death. But if I were dead, I would be the last to know." - @PaulMcCartney
  6. Ringo doesn't get the credit he deserves. Time Takes Time and Vertical Man are two of my favorite solo Beatles albums. Period.
  7. Super excited for @Paulmccartney's "Kisses on the Bottom" to arrive at my house this week!
  8. In fact, Ringo 2012 has some of the hallmarks of a Mark Hudson production. That might be why I like it so much.
  9. I do wish it was more than 9 tracks. And I'm really curious as to why he chose to rerecord 2 of his own songs
  10. I need to give it a few more listens. Pretty sure I like it more than Y Not.
  11. That said, I've listened to Ringo 2012 and I thoroughly enjoyed it. "Wonderful" was my favorite track.
  12. I really think Ringo's albums with Mark Hudson were his best.
  13. And then "Her Majesty" comes on and lightens the mood :)
  14. Whenever I start at "Come Together", by the time I reach "The End", I just want to start over again. A majestic ending to a legendary career
  15. Once there was a way to get back homeward
  16. If the Beatles created nothing but Side 2 of Abbey Road, they could still be proud. Absolute masterpiece.
  17. "Because" is pure musical magic. Vocal arrangement and harmony at its finest!
  18. "Here Comes The Sun" is universally loved for good reason.
  19. They passion they pour into these last tracks they recorded together is just incredible. SO much creativity and personality in every song.
