  15. If sin appeals to you, it's because you aren't embracing God deeply enough. Soak yourself in His Word and pursue Him in prayer!

  17. Turning away from closeness to God for the pleasure of sin cuts us off from joy.
  18. Sin lies when it leads us to believe it's more satisfying than God.
  19. A second reason to turn away from sin is that it's a deception and a scam: sin lies to us.
  20. Choosing sin instead of embracing the glory that God has revealed to us about Himself is spurning God's precious worth.
