  3. Pulse 1/4C mint leaves w 4TBS sugar in processor. Toss w 1 1/4lb blackberries, 4 peaches cut in wedges & 1/2lb halved seedless grapes.
  4. Making a delicious summer fruit salad with mint sugar for get together this evening, recipe in next tweet.
  5. Snippy blog comments do not inspire me to get back to blogging, though I'm sorry I've been MIA. (2 new jobs + moving to new home does that!)

  9. Woke up at 4:30AM today and couldn't fall back asleep. Doh! Hate it when that happens. Consoled myself w a chocolate cupcake for breakfast.
  10. I just heard that July is National Ice Cream Month. Wohoo! That's my kind of national observance.

  13. @shroomshortcut The trick is to press it for an hour before baking it in the BBQ marinade. Really helps flavor & texture.
  14. And YES, BBQ tofu can taste good. Very good in fact. Believe it.
  15. BBQ tofu tacos with all the fixins (avocado, tomato, cheese, salsa, spinach) and Mexican brown rice for dinner. Healthy & delicious!
  16. @katenolan They are lightly fried corn tortillas filled with cheese then "cooked" in refried beans & served topped with a bit more cheese.
  17. After 8 years together I still can't get hubs to try cheese enfrijoladas. But I made them for MY breakfast today and behold, they were good.
