  3. Just made some hommade no-melt suet for the feeder. I need to save $'s somehow, the birds are gobbling it up!
  4. @picusblog We see him flying from pine tree to pine tree. Last year he decimated our suet feeder on a weekly basis. No such "luck" this year
  5. @picusblog We have a neighborhood Pileated that we see flying around the yard but haven't seen him attacking our suet feeder in a while.

  8. @ArtEnvironments Yep, the Yellowtail is good Shiraz, especially for the price. It's perfect for sitting on the deck and watching the birds.

  12. Just saw the first hummingbird of the year, a Ruby-throated, at our feeder. Glad to have them back, Summer is on it's way!
  13. Finally identified another "mystery bird" we saw at the feeders, a Hermit Thrush. We've seen ir a couple of times the last few weeks.
  14. @FlowingDesert I am pretty sure it was a sharp shinned. The size and markings seem to match the best

  18. Just watched what we think is a Sharp Shinned Hawk swoop down by the feeder and almost get a Cardinal by flying through the bushes...
  19. Beautiful bright yellow pine warbler is hanging out at the suet feeder but he plays nice with the other birds.
