  1. RT @bouldengal: Win a new Macbook Pro on Cyber Monday 2009. Details here: http://bit.ly/29rFES
  2. Watching the brilliant film A Serious Man gave me weird dreams last night. Not the kind you want to walk around with all day.
  3. RT @rejects: For Your Consideration: A Guide To The Oscar Precursors - http://bit.ly/6v1xzz (great article from indieWire)
  4. RT @MiramaxFilms: Happy Birthday to our friendo, Joel Coen :-)
  5. @JordanCronk I absolutely admit it - thinking she's in line for Oscar doesn't mean it would be my personal choice.
  6. Avatar and MTV to join up on Dec. 3 http://bit.ly/5AFCwK
  7. RT @errolmorris: OK. Caffeine is a fourth food group.
  8. RT @Richard_Dawkins: Evolution vs. Intelligent Design: 6 Bones of Contention http://short.to/yanq
  9. @JordanCronk But I do ask that you respect them.
  10. @suzanneday I see it down to three actresses right now and Bullock is one of them. 2 movies over $100 mil? A woman? If TBS gets that.
  11. @yvetteava I am starting to see it more and more, especially if it splits 3-ways - Bullock's overall popularity could be the decider.
  12. Dang, you know in the end, Sandra Bullock could pull off a win.
  13. @KevinnK Still have to see it, darnit. So many to see, but I'm getting closer.
  14. @ScottFeinberg are they really called experts? They are pundits. Same with politics. They go by averages and guesses. Not so easy w/art.
  15. @KevinnK Cool! Congrats. :-) I hope Lovely Bones is in.
  16. @ScottFeinberg Moreover, when you do projections of films you haven't sen that makes you an oddsmaker moreso than anything.
  17. @ScottFeinberg ... it is always a best guess, though. It is perhaps an educated, experienced guess but a guess nonetheless.
  18. @ScottFeinberg Because we know the history and can come up with a likely scenario does not mean we'll be right in the end.
  19. @ScottFeinberg the only experts involved in the Oscar race are publicists, imo.
  20. @ScottFeinberg Proven track records? I read those as lucky guesses. Certain things can be known but sometimes it is all for nothing.
