  2. Staff expect industrial sabotage; mention that a new model from Bavaria hasn't sold well due to reliability issues
  3. Investigated the Citroen Engine Works; they'd been burglarised, but nothing important damaged. Interviewed staff.
  4. Specials called to disturbance at a MadBoy pub. Some bloke named Tesla was having a birthday party which drew unwelcome attention.
  5. Mapping the attacks, they seem random. Checking the models seems more promising; they're all Citroens.

  9. After months of broadsheets, all we have is a burgeoning file of lunatics, and no further information on Ludd; released Farris; case filed.
  10. Farris doesn't know this Ludd's real name, but gives a good description. Newcombe suggests broadsheets, an idea from his posting in America.

  12. Searching the madboy's flat, found missing Engine plans from Basset Down, got our man. Rosebury pleased, Alton vindicated. Albion Prevails.
  13. Interrogation; Gentleman is quite mad, but also brilliant. Seem to go hand in hand. No confession, but is still person of interest, no Alibi
  14. Specials report arrest; taking Steam Carriage from Albion to confirm. Suspect was collared while pasting madboy broadsheets. Likely story
  15. Whitehall has been inquiring about investigation; Alton has a description of a saboteur, and the Met is combing London. Rosebury lukewarm.
  16. No sign of saboteur at Memorial, but more signs of his work at Whitehall's proving grounds. Obviously suspects can bypass military guards
  17. Memorial for Cardigan's Blunder. Many madboys there, talking to any Whitehall brass who would listen. Eyes peeled for saboteur; Vigilance
  18. The stoker got orders from the grounds-crew, grounds-crew got orders in writing. Not the madboy's hand. Bollocks. Alton is questioning them.
  19. Lt. Alton has found specs on light boiler; design used whale oil rather than water, stoker had filled with paraffin oil. Alton may be right.
  20. Explosion reported at proving grounds; experimental light boiler ruptured killing two hands. Lt. Alton suspects foul play; hope he's wrong.
