  1. BTW, I do *not* plan to be online tomorrow, so have a good day, all.
  2. Folding my tent and going to bed. Or it is going to fold and tenting my bed? Folding my bed and intending to go?
  3. Been a long time since I worked to Mannhein Steamroller. Feels good.
  4. @MKErestaurants Haven't tried Fortune. The only better Chinese I've ever tasted was at a little hole-in-wall place in Vegas.
  5. I should probably point out that the one decent restaurant is a doozy: Yen Ching, the best Chinese food in the city.
  6. @Twoaday Then I must not be an urbanite. Only 1 decent restaurant within miles of my house(#3) and only bank and pharmacist out of #4.
  7. "There's blood on the chips at HP, DEC, and MIPS, but the heart of the Apple Lisa never died." ~ Jordin Kare
  8. "Times had hit me hard. I was working less than a West Virginia tooth fairy."
  9. The right way to handle the "mugged in London" scam: http://khaosworks.livejourn...
  10. Like USENET before it, craigslist has jumped the shark.
  11. This is a strange day. I'm feeling both excited anticipation for and dread of the future. Wonder what that means?
  12. Having no run out of niches to antagonize, I shall go to bed. Wowbagger Lives!!
  13. As for V, well, let's just say I keep hearing, "It's a COOKBOOK!"
  14. @gregtarnoff Could be, but frankly, Sylar is why I stopped watching Heroes. He sucked all the fun out of the show, for me.
  15. @AmyStephen I used to work down there. Have some fond, and some hateful, memories of that place.
  16. Unit tests - the developer's equivalent of the Strategic Air Command unofficial motto: "Nuke'em 'til they glow, then shoot 'em in the dark!"
  17. There is something magical about the way a slate floor sparkles after being sealed.
  18. @AndrewEddie Call me conventional, but I'll stick with Earl Grey.
  19. Someday, someone is going to have to explain to me the attraction of TechCrunch. I see just another self-promoting wannabe gatekeeper.
  20. @fleetfootmike I love Top Gear. One of those Guilty Pleasures on Television.
