  1. This upcoming week will be a key planning week for CloudCamp Phoenix. There are clouds in Phx!
  2. Headed to SF this morning. It's supposed to be raining there, not Phoenix.
  3. @gailnott Gail, initially the text msg reminders will be for customers, but we plan on adding the ability to send them to staff later.
  4. Posted a bit ago about Kiva.org – a microfinancing site. Recvd first repymnt for $25 invstmnt in purified water co in the Congo. It works!

  8. Trying to think of a win-win in utilizing the large number of out-of-work people in the US, something beyond just commissioned sales reps…
  9. Completed my daily afternoon search for sugar. Employees now know to hide chocolate of any sort.
  10. Making final preparations for next week’s ATSI (call centers/answering svces) show. Although I can’t make it, we will have 3 people there.
  11. Spent weekend at Mt. Lemmon in Tucson. Problems seem so much easier to resolve on a clear mind. Getting out of town always does the trick.

  13. Our survey on SMS reminders interest shows clients overwhelmingly want their customers to get text msg reminders. Design has begun.
  14. Bought some shares of Open Table so that I could participate in the shareholder calls and meetings. Should be interesting.
  15. Our experiment in allowing clients to review our new design is going well – 250 signed up to help. The feedback & ideas have been excellent.

  17. Watching OpenTable’s IPO closely. They do online restaurant reservations. The IPO is generating a lot of attention for online scheduling.
