@ That too. Many tech issues will be resolved. Live migration, pooling, paravirt, network, etc. But core mgmt issues are long term.

@ Some pros, many cons biggest for me is management. KVM has no mgmt ecosystem, & is 6th (?) in line for mgmt vendors. Bad prospects.
