  1. In REI checking out the kids Keens - they look just like the ones I am wearing!
  2. @BrooklynNomad In Amagansett - we love Lunch (Lobster Roll)! They have amazing bisque among other items.
  3. Listening to folk music underneath the Space Needle - and thinking about finding a restaurant for dinner
  4. The 3-yr-old and I are going through the Seattle Children's Museum while my husband and teen hit Experience Music Project!
  5. Seattle's Public Library is so beautiful, large, and filled with books from all over (even saw some in Amharic) - people want to stop & read
  6. We're prospecting for a fun family vacation at the Klondike National Historic Site in Seattle
  7. Pike's Place is amazing - smoked salmon, honey straws, fresh fruit, jewelry, flowers, and samples galore!
  8. In NY, I never see certain license plates - like Alaska, Montana, Hawaii, Idaho, and the Dakotas - Here they are everywhere!
  9. Sitting in Seattle traffic - I think this is a rite of passage.
  10. Dined at Wild Ginger with a wonderful former colleague of my husband! So much great food, ambiance, and company - fabulous!
  11. Went to Gas Works - climbed hills w/ppl flying kites, saw sea planes landing, listened to a band, and posed with old machinery!
  12. Saw Mt. Rainier and Mt. St. Helens from the air - They majestically appeared in the clouds!
  13. Layover in Portland - waiting for our flight on Horizon Air. The Continental flight attendants from Newark were quite rude!
  14. @futuresinmotion There need to be multiple, well honed elevator pitches. I need to figure out what I want and who I want to talk to first ;)
  15. @daniellexo Do both... Take the ferry over to to Governor's Island, pick up a burrito on the way back, and eat/read in the garden.
  16. @kitkat411 Went to Oaxaca yesterday... The portions were tasty, but too small. Try Calexico on Union Street instead...
