  1. Oh, the joy of pre-verbal but mobile people, searching for all the small items they've 'put away' in a 'very safe place'.
  2. My wireless mouse is missing. The downside of freeing technology from wires is it's much easier for a toddler to swipe it.
  3. @sanginmychains I can't even imagine what 'respecting every strand' could actually mean. :/
  4. @yoyomama_van I always find the band-aids someplace strange, 3 months later. So. Gross.
  5. @doudoubebe My daughter takes the Waldorf toys & assigns them Disney themes - I doubt the Waldorf people would like that, either. ;)
  6. @doudoubebe OK, the idea of 'bad, bad butterflies' is making me smile. :)
  7. @Palmygal Dogs will sniff ANYTHING. ;)
  8. @sanginmychains It's for my blog, and I got an idea. Now I just have to write it, but I'm sure I can pull that off.
  9. @sanginmychains Sadly, no time to arrange an interview before tomorrow at 6am. Must. Write. Something.
  10. @5and1 I am out of ideas for everything. Dinner, blog posts, tweets, Christmas gifts. I am just devoid of creative thoughts.
  11. I am out of ideas, people. Totally and completely out of ideas.
  12. @Hobo_Mama I programmed 911 on the phone when I was 19 & single & forgot about it til I had to calmly tell 3 people that really, we were OK.
  13. @fakeplasticfish Crackers? They're bland and low-risk. Hope you're feeling better soon.
  14. @Hobo_Mama This one time my then-toddler managed to 'prank call' 911. Not. Fun.
  15. @MBels I think our kids' collective weight is pretty much exactly the same. And yes, it does give a GREAT workout.
  16. @schreiberwriter Work meeting with toddler was solidly OK. A barista who gave him some steamed milk & tiny cookies & that REALLY helped.
  17. @FeministBreeder I remember that there was no way I would ever finish school, & I had no children or other commitments. Hang in there.
  18. @michellesfamily Plus, they were small, so it took him a LONG time to eat them. :)
  19. @MoreThanVillage Thanks for the wishes of luck & the RT. It was fine, which is a huge victory in my book. :)
  20. @mommyingaround I have a freelance gig, a few hours / week from home usually. They understand I have a toddler & no childcare, thankfully.
