  1. Mortgage market off to a rocky start as bond prices move lower. Slighly better than expected reports from Case Schiller, Chi. PMI to blame.
  2. Mortgage market reasonably quiet this AM - no economic data on the calendar today. Rates unchanged, Mortgage Bond prices modestly higher.
  3. Mortgage market is kicking around mostly unchanged today. Inflation gauge PCE came in lower than expected - friendly # for rates.
  4. Mortgage bonds moving modestly higher in price this AM - rates may improve slightly from yesterday's close if gains hold here.
  5. A lot of fireworks around the Fed statement and rate decision today - net result 2.5 hours after statement? Everything stays the same.
  6. Mortgage market gathering some steam in early goings - rates should improve slightly from Friday's closing numbers.
  7. Mortgage rates moving in the wrong direction in early goings today. Late Tuesday/early Wednesday would have been best "lock" days this week
  8. Mortgage bonds moving rates higher today as "olympic record" 104 Billion of treasury supply announced for next week.
  9. Mortgage market enjoying another good day as money moves into bond market - 30 year rates seem to be making a run at 5%. Not there yet.
  10. Mortgage bond market opened to the downside. Producer price index shows little inflationary pressure, bonds clawing back to unchanged.
  11. Mortgage market putting together a 3rd straight day of downward rate movement - we may be approaching the end of the relief rally.
