  1. Pushed out a hard 5 miles on the trails at the ridge. I almost ran into a doe a mile in - it couldn't have been more than 6 or 7 feet away!
  2. 1:10:40 (7:25/mile) at the Boilermaker. Not my best & both John/Greg beat me, but with my spring travel/drinking, I'm very happy with it.
  3. @fixlr yep, but he doesn't look all that great
  4. The race organizers have cut the expo/packet pickup an hour short. I find this to be total BS, but am making a stop at Bass Pro now
  5. On the road to Utica for the Boilermaker (15k). It's pouring.
  6. Not enough bars are open before 11AM in Western New York.
  7. Just got done with a couple drinks with the refs from the Rhinos game - it's gonna be a late, late night...
  8. Heading out to Rochester tonight to pick up the deer/pirahna mounts & go to the Rhinos game. Will likely have to kill some time between.
  9. Did 8.75 on roads at the Ridge, including Big Mother twice. Not a stellar time, but I will survive the Boilermaker & not look stupid.
  10. Three deer at 12:50? In 73 degrees? (off Commercial street in Angola)
  11. Dropped a tree & pulled four bushes with the truck before noon. Still lots of time to do more work.
  12. The taxidermist called to say my deer & pirahna are done. Time to drink some beers & relax.
  13. Plotted 6, but did 7 miles at a sub-8 min/mile pace, which was quite a surprise. One week left to get in shape for the Boilermaker 15k.
  14. Did 6 on the road in the hills literally around the Ridge. It was tough. Saw some huge houses though.
  15. Registered for the Boilermaker & did another 5 at the Ridge today with my friend Jill at an easy pace on the roads. Beautiful in the park.
  16. Put in 5 on road today. Tough, but faster than expected. Saw at least 15 chucks & watched a doe from 40 yds for 5 mins before wheezing at me
  17. Looks like we're getting wet for our game today...
  18. Zoar was great for kayaking. Almost hit a flock if turkeys on way, had to bail twice from the boat (happy to be alive) & saw a bald eagle.
  19. Going whitewater kayaking in the Catt
  20. Home again to two nice surprises - my shed us fixed & an LL Bean mountaineering pack I ordered was outside.
