  5. We are on the plane in Dar. See you all in 36 short hours!
  6. We return to SFO via Dubai, JFK, and Dulles in only 32 short hours (including flight time and layovers)! See you Thursday!!!
  7. Back in Dar after a very dusty drive. Tomorrow am is shopping, then lunch, then at the airport by 2:30.
  8. Just came back to the tent camp after our game drive. Saw elephants, giraffe, zebra, hippo, wildebeest, jackals, impala...
  9. Team arrived safe and sound back in Dar. We depart for Mikumi tomorrow.
  10. Tuesday pm we return to Dar. Wednesday morning is shopping then we depart Dar for SFO via Dubai, JFK, and Dulles. Arrive Thurs afternoon.
  11. Tomorrow we will attend church in Zanzibar then fly back to Dar where we will overnight before going on safari to Mikumi National Park.
  12. Last clinic done- we did malaria teaching and distributed nets at Cheju village. This afternoon is lunch and shopping.
  13. Today we are going to a village where we will be observed by Zanzibar's 'Malaria Project' who want to observe how we do our clinics.
  14. Friday and Saturday are clinic days again. Sunday am is church then we fly back to Dar. Mon and Tues we'll safari at Mikumi nat. park.
  15. Tomorrow we'll spend the day working at the school on Pastor Dixon's church property. Then Robin and LeeAnn are teaching a ladies seminar.
  16. We leave Pemba in two hours for Zanzibar. Today we'll tour the slave market and spend time playing with kids at the orphanage.
  17. Wednesday am we hop a plane back to Zanzibar. After arriving we'll tour the slave market and spend the afternoon at the gov't orphanage.
  18. Hospital tour was difficult for many on our team. Conditions are substandard (to say the least) and they have little to no supplies...
  19. Final malaria clinic numbers for Pemba- 1,675 women and children seen in two days. 734 nets distributed to families.
  20. Whaddya know- WiFi in Pemba! How do they manage WiFi when they can't even keep the power on? ;-)
