  1. Btw, I'll check here still, for my non-poetry peoples.
  2. I followed the poetry horde: http://identi.ca/9to5poet When I just logged in, Twitter thought it was last weekend. Lame.
  3. Grr...the used iPod I bought online crashed when I plugged it in. For the $130 to fix it and the $150 price, I could have a new 80gb ipod.
  4. My stacks of unread Poetry magazines are mocking me. I'm open to suggestions on *good* mainstream poetry mags I should subscribe to.
  5. OMG, CNN actually has poetry related news on its website: http://tinyurl.com/6z2g3t ! Stay calm. The world will return to normal soon.
  6. I picked up my CSA veggies, and the bounty of beets, potatoes, leafy greens, and mint make me feel blessed to live in Minnesota, a rarity.
  7. One of those days when I collected moments of silence like lumpy invisible bricks, built myself a drafty home around my flickering computer.
  8. Just watched Dr.Horrible. If you want to see Doogie Howser & Nathan Fillion sing lyrics by Joss Whedon, go to: http://www.drhorrible.com.
  9. @yoginipoet a friend of mine was really disappointed that there were no costumed peeps @ his midnight Batman showing. I was relieved.
  10. After 8 days, the experiment's over. The new iPod is has been ordered.
  11. @stoneymoss Both were good, but Batman is *amazing*. It feels more like serious film. The Joker is scary, not clowinish. See them!
  12. I geeked out today: Hellboy in the AM and Batman in the PM. Now, I'm too hopped up on adrenaline to sleep. Pity me.
  13. Darn good post here: http://tinyurl.com/6hyf74 . Glad I found this blog!
  14. More from the art installation at work: "A flower's life is short. Ours is as well." Printed on an enormous plastic doily, six feet across.
  15. On a walk this morning, found a speckled egg, big as my thumb, cracked on the ground, orange yolk spilling out. I couldn't find its nest.
  16. Lesson from Nigel on my dance show: Making a tiny mistake is good, because you will always push yourself to do a little better next time.
  17. An art installation is going up in the gallery near my office. Silver poles that look like metal daisies. I love watching art as it forms.
  18. Great prompt on RWP, Christine! It's going to rock!
  19. Air conditioning's disconnected in our condo and we're recirculating warm air. The air circles and eddies in the room, scaring our cats.
  20. Caught up on my poem-a-day work calendar, read Crane's poem about a man devouring his bitter heart. Why are poets obsessed with hearts?
