  2. planning a trip to Chicago, could use some beer recommendations. staying along the mag mile - anything walking is always nice ;)
  3. @artfuse I actually haven't tried any of those... I will add to my list. They are all a little further out from where I'm at, but will do!
  4. @SimplyBeer just returned - you won't be disappointed. Thanks @craftbeerNYC again for the recommendation
  5. @CraftBeerNYC looking at the menu, very nice! Thanks for the suggestion
  6. @thebeergeek gotcha - thanks for the inside scoop. I haven't seen Uncommon's stuff around me in NJ but I'm into the notion of bacon beer
  7. @CraftBeerNYC -- Hey got any mid-town beer bar recommendations? Been by BXL, St. Andrews, House of Brews, and of course heartland Brewery
  8. @thebeergeek talk to me! so what's the deal - is it like a rauchbier - smoked? brewed with real bacon? sounds like you didn't like it
  9. RT: @ratebeer confirmed rumor: uncommon brewers to make MMM BACON BEER!!! http://bit.ly/12zHie
  10. @SudsyMaggie very kind of you, even were it possible it would be unnecessary. Much appreciated. Maybe NJ brewers will wise up to basil beer!
  11. @SudsyMaggie you've intrigued me! wish I could find something like that here in NJ
  12. @beeraday Love me some Hop Stoopid, a fine choice.
  13. @SudsyMaggie that sounds great - how potent was the basil? was the beer on the sweeter side? sounds like such an unlikely duo
  14. @BeerTwinkie good read, sounds like fun - how was the crowd reaction to your brews?
  15. NJ Brew Pub and restaurant review - Basil T's: http://bit.ly/cGKTs
  16. http://twitpic.com/a1jkt - stack of wings and housemade bleu cheese dip @ basil t's
  17. enjoying the irish dry stout now at basil t's. on nitro- creamy full mouth and nice dark roasty, smokey profile. worthy indeed
  18. Rosie's pale ale seems the winner out of the six brews in the basil t's sampler. generously hopped, fruity and floral, lasting bitter
  19. http://twitpic.com/a16yz - beer list at basil t's
  20. http://twitpic.com/a16xc - prosciutto platter to go with the beer
