  1. 21st Street = lined up out the door
  2. We WILL be open July 4th, at 8am as usual. If you are reading this and it is July 4th, and it's after 8am but before 5pm... WE ARE OPEN.
  3. tweaked the guatemala recipe on the clover. shorter brew time really rachets up the sweetness of this coffee, very similar to the bolivia.
  4. @evilchili similar, but I used our french press technique/recipe to brew it. More testing/tasting is required!
  5. Check out our sale merchandise-ceramic cups and more
  6. morning coffee has worn off, headed to the Strip for an espresso... and maybe another coffee.
  7. @klaus_thomsen yes... a couple weeks ago at an unnamed training location.
  8. @aldocoffee don't you have a dishwasher?
  9. @otherblackstuff we've been accused of updosing before... but this takes the cake.
  10. @aldocoffee itzamna at 60g, french press grind, 28oz water pre boil. preheat, dump water over coffee, wait ~1 min, stir, wait 3min. good.
  11. full immersion brewing- when the end is near, decant!
  12. Open in the Strip District today, so stop in & grab a cup, then you can go buy all your 4th of July supplies such as grill meat & sparklers.
  13. enjoying my second ever cafe solo (itzamna guatemala) much much more than I did the first. only problem is... 28oz is a TON of coffee.
  14. Friday, July 3rd, the Frick Building shop will be CLOSED. Strip District open as usual the 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th...
  15. Dear mr. espresso expert... you ordered a single "ristretto" and you said we "just" served you a regular double. Check the mouthfeel.
  16. Downtown (if anyone is actually at work today) we're pressing up cups of new crop Guatemala Huehuetenango- Finca Maravilla. Fruit Punch.
  17. New crop Costa Rica Terrazu from the Flecha Roja Project. This is the real deal and not the Terrazu the local boys sell year round. Great.
  18. Finally got around to purchasing a Cafe Solo. First cup was horrible, but I learn the most from the bad ones. Next one will be better.
  19. @spronomy show 'em the door!
  20. just got the newest and probably best central this season from guatemala- the direct trade itzamna. cupped it at intelli- it was da juice.
