  1. What a great week here at Crooked Stick...thanks to everyone for following and congratulations to Fred Funk, 2009 US Senior Open Champion!
  2. Awesome finish! Fred Funk will be coming directly to the media center for an interview with the champion!!!
  3. Going to 18 to find a spot to watch players come in - Fred's still got 7 to play, but he's got a commanding 5 shot lead!
  4. With birdies at 9 and 10, Funk distances himself even more from the pack. He now holds a 3 shot lead over Joey Sindelar.
  5. Make it 5! Roberts finds another birdie after wiggling in a downhill slider at 13 to get to -12 for the championship.
  6. Loren Roberts has birdied 4 holes in a row: -8 on his round today. With 3 of the hardest holes at 16, 17, and 18, anything can still happen.
  7. Fred Funk wows the crowd early with two birdies in his first four holes...could be tough to catch if that putter stays hot!
  8. http://twitpic.com/cj1x2 - The box for the Championship trophy - the real thing will be unveiled later this afternoon!
  9. Loren Roberts is off to a phenomenal start, with a birdie and an eagle on the two opening par 4's.
  10. Crowds arrive early to try and stake a spot out before the leaders tee off. Another perfect day: warm and sunny with breezy northwest winds.
  11. The stage is set for a great finish tomorrow: big galleries expected and a great group of guys at the top!
  12. Fred Funk drains a long putt at 16 to tie for the lead at -13. This race is staying tight!
  13. Norman is proving that he won't go away. He's -5 on the day after an eagle on the par-5 15th.
  14. Crooked Stick is the longest course in US Senior Open history at 7,316 yards. Doesn't seem to bother Sindelar, in the lead at -13 through 9.
  15. Russ Cochran is tearing it up. -8 on the day and the championship. Only a couple of holes to play for him today...
  16. Galleries are huge today...could be a record-setting crowd!
  17. Another amateur gets hot - Bryan Norton is -5 on his round today through 15 holes as a result of 8 birdies; he's at -3 for the championship.
  18. http://twitpic.com/cdx8s - Greg Norman strolls through the media center post-round.
  19. Amateur Jackson leads a field of pro stars with record-setting 36 holes - http://golftwitt.com/bwes
  20. Final pairing of Jackson and Sindelar set to tee off at 2:00pm today, with Norman and Funk just in front at 1:50pm.
